Over the weekend the worst possible thing happened: my hard drive crashed. Which is quite possibly the worst thing in the world for me. Luckily, I was able to get it fixed at the Apple store and didn’t lose a single file. This is the second time its happened to me and honestly for a person who’s life is on their computer it really is one of the most traumatic experiences. After losing EVERYTHING in the first crash, I immediately went out and bought an external hard drive and back up my computer and back it up every week. But anyways, when the Apple technician called me to tell me my laptop was working perfectly after a few days, I could’ve kissed him. So this is my PSA to you all, buy a external hard drive and back that ish up!

But now on the the outfit. I was lucky enough to score this LV scarf at Christmas and literally I’ve worn it almost every day. Its one of my new favorite wardrobe staples, I can’t get enough of it. But lets talk about this Free People shirt dress. I scored it on sale (!!!) and am obsessed. The color is great, the fact that it can be worn open like a long tunic or buttoned up as a dress is amazing, and it has POCKETS which makes it instantly an amazing addition to my closet. Unfortunately, I can’t find it anywhere online to link for you all so I linked to a similar dress thats the same color and equally as cute (and on sale!). I hope you all had an amazing week! I have some fun posts coming up involving recipes and playing with tigers, so stay tuned!

Hi everyone! I’m back from my little hiatus. I’ve been back home in Texas to celebrate the holidays with my family and couldn’t be happier (but I’m super sad Christmas is over). I’m not going to be able to come home for a really long time, so I’m soaking up every minute of it. When I first got to Texas, it was so warm so I kind of had to fake December weather by mixing this chunky cable knit sweater with silk stripe midi skirt for a semi-winter look that wouldn’t cause heat stroke. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and rang in 2016 with a bang!
