I’ve always been a huge fan of Banana Republic, so when they asked if I would like to participate in their summer campaign and style up a few pieces from their collection I couldn’t resist! Once I saw this dress on their site, I knew I needed it. I love the color and floral print, the perfect combination for summer. The cut, length, and material are all perfect as well. Did I mention that it has pockets? That makes it the ultimate summer dress. It’s also the perfect transitional piece to mix into your fall wardrobe. Click here to make your closet happy.
I was also super excited about finally getting my feet into some super cute lace up flats. I had the hardest time picking which color I wanted, I literally had every color in my shopping cart. They are SUPER comfortable and flattering. I always am skeptical when it comes to lace up shoes because I’m short and worry that they will make me look even shorter than I actually am, but these are so great!
I shot these photos on my recent trip to Ireland when I was staying at Ashford Castle. I couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for this post.
Two weeks ago, my parents and little brother popped over to London for a visit and to travel around England, Scotland, and Ireland. We seriously had the best time and were able to see so many amazing things and visit so many places we had never been before. We started out the trip with them visiting me in London, but we decided one day that we wanted to escape from city life and head out to the countryside. So we jumped in a car and sped off to the Cotswolds for some greenery.
All of the little towns and houses were so cute! My mom and I kept talking about how we were going to buy a little farmhouse with a thatched roof and buy some cute sheep to have as pets.
By far my favorite little towns to visit were Upper and Lower Slaughter. They were so quaint and charming. There was a little river that ran through the towns that were lined with the sweetest houses with tons of flower boxes outside. It was an absolute dream and reminded me of a fairytale. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit if you ever make it to the Cotswolds.
After touring around the countryside, we decided to head over to Oxford since it was so close by and grab a bite to eat.
I can’t imagine going to school at one of the many universities that make up Oxford. The buildings were so cool and the campus was incredible.
I mean, this ceiling!
Sorry for the picture heavy post, but I took so many photos and it was hard for me to choose! I’ll be sharing more from our adventures this week, so stay tuned!
