The English Countryside

Two weeks ago, my parents and little brother popped over to London for a visit and to travel around England, Scotland, and Ireland. We seriously had the best time and were able to see so many amazing things and visit so many places we had never been before. We started out the trip with them visiting me in London, but we decided one day that we wanted to escape from city life and head out to the countryside. So we jumped in a car and sped off to the Cotswolds for some greenery. All of the little towns and houses were so cute! My mom and I kept talking about how we were going to buy a little farmhouse with a thatched roof and buy some cute sheep to have as pets. By far my favorite little towns to visit were Upper and Lower Slaughter. They were so quaint and charming. There was a little river that ran through the towns that were lined with the sweetest houses with tons of flower boxes outside. It was an absolute dream and reminded me of a fairytale. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit if you ever make it to the Cotswolds. After touring around the countryside, we decided to head over to Oxford since it was so close by and grab a bite to eat.
