Sailing

While I have many favorite places in the world (London, Paris, New York...), by far my absolute favorite place to be is smack dab in the middle of the sea on boat with the people I love most. If I wasn't an Art Director, I definitely would have been a Marine Biologist. I took so many classes and even did a study trip to Fiji to study and preserve their underwater eco-system. I freaking love the ocean. So any chance that I get to be on the water, I take it. These photos are from a sailing trip I took with my mom, Jo, and my grandparents. We went out of Dana Point and sailed straight into the horizon. Thousands of Common and Bottlenose Dolphins swam in the boats wake and played under the bow. We played cards, ate, drank, and watched the sun set. It could not have been a more perfect day. Sharing more from my mini getaway soon!
