Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

I haven’t been to Disneyland in a few years, which was WAY too long to go without Bengal Barbeque and a trip on the Small World, so literally the first thing I did when I went to California last week was head straight to the Happiest Place on Earth. I was SUPER pumped because Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge just opened, so we made a beeline straight to the Black Spire Outpost. GUYS. It was SO. FREAKING. COOL. You are literally transported to a galaxy far, far away. I honestly forgot we were still at Disneyland. They got everything perfect, down to the tiniest detail. All of the cast members, including the cashiers, stay in character. Storm Troopers push you out of the way and get in your face if you take pictures of them. Rey and Chewy sneak around the outpost to avoid Kylo Ren and members of the First Order. There is so much more like building your own droid and a secret hideout where you can build your own lightsaber and fight with the resistance. You really are transported, so I joined in on the fun too and grabbed a cup of the Blue Milk and made my way inside the Millennium Falcon to help smuggle some coaxium for the rebel forces in the new Smuggler’s Run ride. I don’t want to spoil it, BUT BEST RIDE EVER. It seriously is so freaking fun. The first time I rode, I was an Engineer and the second time I scored a seat as a Pilot. Both are super fun roles to play as you smuggle your way through enemy territory to help the resistance. I can’t wait to fly again in October when we head to Disney World for the first time! May the force be with you while you try to contain yourself from booking a ticket to Galaxy's Edge right now.
